Vector Center Briefing for Bloomberg: The Future of Climate Change, Water, and National Security

October 11, 2017/in In the News /by Cody Pope

What are the current implications of water risk and the Middle East, South Asia, and Asia? Where are the water security choke points for the United States and its allies? What are projections for water-related hotspots and their effects on human migration and political conflicts? And where are the greatest risks to water, food and energy?

These were among the questions underpinning a private briefing for Michael Bloomberg, founder and CEO of Bloomberg L.P., that included Vector Center CEO J. Carl Ganter, Admiral Sam Locklear, former commander of the U.S. Pacific Command, and Sherri Goodman, Wilson Center Fellow and former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense.
